Aminu Saleh COE Azare holds 5th National conference of SOV, TE

The School of Vocational and Technical Education (SOV&TE) of the Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare Bauchi State has holds it’s 5th National Conference

A statement signed by Suleiman Shehu, Chief Information Officer of the college made available to Journalists on Tuesday in Bauchi said the conference with the “Theme Emerging Innovation in Contemporary Technology: Implication for Sustainable Development”.

The statement said the conference is part of the School academic activities to create an avenue for a scholarly approach towards addressing national economic issues

“Through innovations of ideas, policies and practical aspects for the overall development of the nation.

According to the statement, Provost of the College Dr. Abdullahi Mohammed Isyaku who was ably represented by his Deputy Mallam Mukthari Mohammed Hussaini, described the Conference as timely in consideration of the present economic situation in the country.

“That requires innovations for sustainable development. He urged the presenters to ensure that they come out with positive results.

It further added that the Management is presently working with the School of Vocational to strategies policies for more ideas towards the development of the College Entrepreneur Unit.

“The purpose is to create an opportunity that will serve as platform for training the teaming youths within the community with skill acquisition training in the areas of Plumbing,

“Cow plough Machine, Fish Farming, Colour Machine, Poultry Production, Production of Aluminium Pots, Animal Husbandry, Production of Hoe, Axe and Knife, Electricity Installations, Satellite Installations/Repairs and Building.

“It will find lasting solutions in addressing emerging issues of youth in the nation at large.

Statement said in a remarks of, the Chairman of the Occasion Alhaji Usman Mahmood Abdullahi (Galadiman Katagum and Hakimin Katagum, applauded the efforts of the organisers and assured them of the Katagum Emirate’s Commitment.

To support the School and College on any development and charge them to come up with a lasting solution that will assist the Teaming youth of the Community.

It said Two lead papers were presented by Dr. Babawuro Shuibu of ATBU, Bauchi and Dr. Haruna Chiroma of FCE (T) Gombe.
